Nizhnetagil’skiy metallurgicheskiy kombinat OAO (NTMK OAO or Nizhnetagilsky Iron & Steel Plant Open OJSC) is a Russia-based iron and steel works company. It is involved in the processing vanadium-enriched titan ferrous ores with subsequent vanadium recovery in blast oxygen furnaces and oxygen converters. The Company’s products include inborn vanadium iron, vanadium slags, virgin oxygen-converted steel and inborn vanadium steel. In addition, NTMK OAO manufactures a range of rolled products for railways, including heat-treated rails, wheels and tires for operating under extreme conditions, such as heavy loads and low temperatures, and axle blanks for railcar building. The Company also supplies seamless pipe blanks for pipe plants and structural steel products for machine building. NTMK OAO operates through eight subsidiaries and three affiliated companies. The Company exports its products to the United States, Europe, South-East Asia and the Middle East.
