Rigid spike plates that are reinforced with ribbing ensure optimal load transmission from soil or rock anchors to the HIGH TENSILE ROCKFALL MESH. Gabions are used in many situations including the stabilization of earth movement and erosion, river control, reservoirs, canal refurbishment, landscaping and retaining walls.Gabions are compartmentalized rectangular containers of galvanized steel hexagonal wire mesh that are filled with stone. The compartment or cells of the reno mattress are of equal size and dimension and are formed by internal diaphragms being placed within the basket providing even distribution of the stone fill throughout the mattress even after structural movement.
