At grupokaybee, the focus is on flat steel products, with a special emphasis on value added materials. Cold rolled coils are obtained from hot ones, after a process of extended rolling, and these are in turn supplied to galvanizers or shipped to manufacturers of pipes, sheets, shapes for the fabrication of consumer durables and other products.
Cold rolled coils can be coated with zinc (GI) or aluminum-zinc (GL) or directly painted on. Coatings of various standards and grades can also be applied to suit different customer specifications. Available as coils or in further-processed forms like plain or corrugated sheets, these have a wide range of applications like white goods, housing and construction.
