Piattine e Profili Inox Srl was founded in 1979, in a small town near Milano called Bollate, and began by producing round edged, stainless strips and profiles, primarily supplied to the domestic appliance industry.
The particular precision and reliability demonstrated in our production processes, lead to a growing demand in this highly technical and sensitive market.
Our years of practical research and advanced technology, enabled the company to expand and increase it’s market share in new industries such as chemical, petrochemical, and mining and water extraction fields. Furthermore, the creation of the EU, paved the way for Piattine e Profili Inox Srl to become a leading supplier for important multi national corporations.
We were one of the first Italian companies to conform to the Quality Assurance System, certified according to ISO 9002, now ISO 9001: 2000. This, combined with our well trained technical staff, assures our clients and their development offices, personalized cooperation in the realization of the most sophisticated profiles in the industry.

The increasing demand for high quality merchandise produced in a rapid “order to consignment” ratio, compelled Piattine e Profili Srl to enlarge the existing company headquarters and lead to the acquisition of our current location, Cerro Maggiore (Mi), strategically located 20 minutes from Malpensa airport, and convenient to the major highway junctions.
Our new factory, equipped with state of the art technology, has allowed our highly qualified technicians to reach new heights in quality and creativity.
To assure that our priority of product quality always maintains the highest of standards, we established a new firm, ITC Srl., in 1998. This move enables us to retain maximum control of the production process for speciality profiles and the continuously changing market requirements in the industry. This partnership is responsible for producing and supplying stainless steel round wires and semi finished products to the parent company, in addition to offering this service to the global market.
