Novolipetsk Steel OAO (Novolipetskiy metallurgicheskiy kombinat OAO or NLMK OAO) is a Russia-based vertically integrated steel company. Novolipetsk Steel OAO produces a wide range of flat and long steel products, including slabs, hot-rolled and cold-rolled sheet, galvanized, pre-painted and electrical steel, rebar and metal ware. The Companys products are used in a variety of industries, from construction and machine-building to the manufacture of power generation equipment and offshore windmills. Its crude steel production capacity is over 17 million tons per year. All Companys mining assets are located domestically, as well as 94% of its steelmaking capacities. In addition, Novolipetsk Steel OAOs rolling assets are located in the Russian Federation (56%), Europe (25%) and the United States (19%).
LMZ Svobodnyi sokol OAO (Lipetskiy metallurgicheskiy zavod Svobodnyi Sokol OAO or Lipetsk Iron Works Svobodny Sokol OJSC) is a Russia-based company active within the metallurgical sector. The Company manufactures various types of cast iron. Its product portfolio includes ductile iron pipes; fittings; cast, pig and nodular iron, cold-charge material for re-melting, as well as crushed and dumped blast-furnaces, coke fines, blast-furnace dust, blast-furnace sludge and iron scrap, among others. The Company operates through two wholly owned subsidiaries: Kombinat obshchestvennogo pitaniya Sokol OOO and Overcom SA. It sells its products on the domestic market, as well as exports them to Italy, Slovenia, Saudi Arabia and Poland, among others.
